Holiday's is a great family style meal spot. The menu has a broad range of selections for the most finicky eaters....The food is top notch competitive to most Coney Island spots. Not that it should be compared to those types of establishments. It just has that feel when you walk in. They also serve alcohol. Great hidden treasure in A2.

I ordered the Smokey Mountain Chicken with a salad and a side of carrots. My spouse ordered the Eggs Benedict, and we got a hot dog for my kid. This was a pretty awful dining experience -- from the smell of the restaurant (smelled like mold in the entry way, and overall musty inside) all the way to the food and portions. The greeter inside the door was also terribly rude and very curt. The chicken was cooked appropriately, but it was easily the smallest portion of chicken I have ever seen. They served it on top of what seemed like boxed rice and a cut up carrot which was bland at best. Everything seemed like GFS would have better food if I just picked it up myself. The eggs Benedict was overcooked, which is probably the best thing we could say, because hopefully nobody will get food poisoning. And the hot dog was cold. On top of the bad food, negative experience they decided that it would be a good idea to add a 3.99% surcharge on credit card bills. At a restaurant this is not normal -- most restaurants have an easier time handling credit card transactions than having to pay people to make cash deposits. Avoid this place.

This is a great, affordable, convenient greasy spoon style diner that offers a range of meals while providing the essentials you would expect at similar restaurants. The staff was very friendly, there are plenty of seats as the place is pretty big inside and you don't have to worry about lack of parking. I wish that they offered a vegetarian meat substitute (sausage party, links, etc.) as that is something that seems to be pretty easy to find in most Ann Arbor area restaurants. We will be coming back here many times and will be sure to bring my kids as well. We're lucky to have a place like this so close to our home.

Super relaxed, quiet place for a cute date or just family. We ate outside and the atmosphere was so welcoming. Food was great

Calling Gordon Ramsey! This place has such potential for a great family restaurant on Ann Arbor's west side, akin to Northside Grill on the north side. Unfortunately the service is very slow, even with few patrons, and the food comes out burned or mushy or just plain. We kept giving this place a try but no more. When we visited we kept thinking, "how is this place still in business?" Time for some serious updates to service, food, and decor, or at least the first two.
